Please see below the following updates from Racing NSW Stewards.
NIMALEE (Report from trainer Matthew Smith): Trainer Matthew Smith advised Racing NSW Stewards that Nimalee, which is accepted to race at Royal Randwick tomorrow in Race 9 (Aspiration Quality), has sustained an abscess to the near hind foot which has burst. Mr Smith has advised the mare has been subject to farrier treatment with a 3/4 plate fitted. He said the stable will monitor the mare in the lead-up to tomorrow’s race meeting and advise if the mare is suitable to start. Should the mare be considered suitable to start by the stable, Nimalee will be subject to inspection by Racing NSW Chief Veterinarian, Dr Toby Koenig.
SHE'S ALL CLASS (Spelled): The Chris Waller stable advised that She’s All Class has been spelled and will not race for the remainder of the autumn carnival. Wagering operators are requested to remove the filly from all feature autumn carnival markets.
MIDSUMMER RAIN (Out of Country Championships): Trainer Cameron Crockett advised that Midsummer Rain has undergone colic surgery and accordingly has been scratched from Sunday’s Tamworth H&NWRA Country Championships Qualifying heat. Wagering operators are requested to remove the mare from the market for the Country Championships Final to be conducted at Randwick on 3 April 2021.
