Information On Stablehands 2% Payments

Thank you for your interest in the 2% Stablehand Bonus.

The first step towards receiving your bonus is to complete either a full qualification in one of our courses in either RGR30218 Certificate III in Racing (Stablehand) or RGR30518 Certificate III in Racing (Trackwork Rider), both funded via Smart and Skilled (offered to those eligible Australian residents); or to complete the Stable Skills Short Course comprising of three Units of Competency (offered to those on visa’s or not eligible for a funded full qualification).

To enrol into either of the above options, see below steps:

  1. Please fill out the enrolment application form, inclusive of your Unique Student Identifier (USI). If you do not have a USI, please use the following Unique Student Identifier creation link - https://www.usi.gov.au/your-usi/create-usi

If you are enrolling into the Stable Skills Short Course, a course fee of $300 is applicable. This can either be taken out of any stakes bonus currently owing to you, or you can choose pay via credit card with details to be completed in Section 12 of the enrolment application form.

  1. Please email the completed enrolment application form to the following email address - trainingacademy@teamthoroughbred.com.au
  2. Once we have received your completed application form, the Training Academy will enrol you into the nominated course and Stakes Payments will be advised to release the first 50% of any funds owing to you.
  3. Your Workplace Trainer and Assessor will then be in touch to commence your training via a blend of online theory and practical assessments.
  4. Once your course is complete, the remaining 50% of funds will be released.
