Gear Clarification - Shelstein (Hawkesbury / Rosehill)
Racing NSW Stewards wish to clarify the gear to be worn by SHELSTEIN (trained by Annabel Neasham & Rob Archibald), which has been accepted to race at both Hawkesbury (Tuesday) and Rosehill Gardens (Wednesday).
A gear change was approved this morning for VISORS ON (first time), however, this gear change will only apply should the gelding race at Rosehill on Wednesday where it is an acceptor in Race 1 (James Squire Handicap, 1200m).
Should SHELSTEIN race at Hawkesbury (Tuesday) where it is an acceptor in Race 5 (Christmas Racedays at HRC Benchmark 64 Handicap, 1300m) then the gear change will not apply and the horse will race WITHOUT VISORS.
