Jackson Murphy
Licensed apprentice jockey Jackson Murphy has lodged an appeal against penalty after being found guilty by Racing NSW Stewards under AR137(a) after his ride on Phoenix Global in Race 7 (Any Entertainment Class 1 Handicap, 1200m) at Coffs Harbour Racecourse on Thursday, 27 December 2018. Following a Stewards inquiry that day, Mr Murphy was suspended for a period commencing Sunday, 6 January 2019 and to expire on Monday, 14 January 2019 on which day he may ride. This Appeal is set to be heard by the Racing NSW Appeal Panel on Tuesday, 8 January 2019 commencing at 10am at the offices of Racing NSW.

Licensed jockey Jake Duffy has lodged an appeal against conviction and penalty after being found guilty by Racing NSW Stewards under AR137(a) after his ride on Regal Reece in Race 7 (3 Course Carvery Every Sunday Class 1 & Maiden Plate 1600m) at Corowa Racecourse on Sunday, 30 December 2018. Following a Stewards inquiry that day, Mr Duffy was suspended for a period commencing Sunday, 6 January 2019 and to expire on Tuesday, 15 January 2019 on which day he may ride. This Appeal is set to be heard by the Southern Districts Racing Association on Tuesday, 8 January 2019 commencing at 10:30am in the stewards' room, Wagga Wagga Racecourse.
