Trainer Reports To Stewards - It's Me (Randwick, Saturday)

Trainer Brett Cavanough has reported to Racing NSW Stewards this morning that IT'S ME, an acceptor in race 5 (no.14) The Kosciuszko, was subject to an endoscopic examination yesterday afternoon after coughing when exiting the pool following a swim.

The endoscopic examination revealed very mild mucus and the mare was treated with antibiotics. A blood test for health assessment returned normal with no sign of infection.

Mr Cavanough has advised the mare's training program has not been altered in any way.

A further endoscopic examination will be performed on the mare on Friday to review its response to the treatment, the results of which will be reported to Racing NSW Stewards and Veterinarians for assessment to determine its suitability to race in The Kosciuszko.
