Stables Reports To Stewards & Dual Engagements (Friday & Saturday)

Please Note the following:

CANTERBURY (Friday 17th December)
Race 8, No 5 MAIN STAGE – The Markwell stable advised the gelding underwent arthroscopic surgery to its off fore fetlock since its last start. The gelding has since trialled on three occasions.

LISMORE (Friday 17th December)

Race 1, No 2 BALLISTIC BABE and No 10 PRETTY DEVINE – Jockey Robbie Fradd has been dual engaged on the understanding that trainer Toby & Trent Edmonds will only be starting one of these horses and the other will be scratched.
Race 3, No 3 DAEDALUS and No 8 AL ASH LAD – Jockey Matthew McGuren has been dual engaged on the understanding that trainer Matthew Dunn will only be starting one of these horses (if any) and the other will be scratched.

RANDWICK (Saturday 18th December)
Race 2, No 11 HOKAHEY (Kurt Goldman) and No 19 SHEN GUI (Lou Mary) – Kerrin McEvoy has been dual engaged on the understanding that his first commitment is to No 19 SHEN GUI. Therefore, should it gain a start as 3rd emergency, then another rider will need to be found for HOKAHEY.
Race 4, No 1 HOLY REIGN – Trainer Kim Waugh has reported the gelding has undergone tie-back surgery since it last raced in April 2021. It ahs since trialed on two occasions (at Beaumont 17/11/21 and Wyong 1/12/21).
Race 10, No 13 FRITZ’S FACTOR – Trainer Rodney Northam has advised the mare has undergone bilateral front fetlock arthroscopy since it last raced in December 2020. It has since trialled on one occasion (at Tamworth 1/12/21).
