ATC Hosts Special Awards During Randwick's Industry Celebration Day (Saturday)

Australian Turf Club hosts a series of special awards at Royal Randwick this Saturday as part of the Club’s annual Industry Celebration Day.

Eight awards recognising owners, horses and industry participants will be presented in the Royal Randwick Owners Pavilion ahead of a 10-race card on the final Saturday meeting of the 2024/25 racing season.

The awards include Most Improved Horse at ATC Courses, Most Wins, Winning Syndicator, Leading Sire and Special Achievement Award.

Three other awards will recognise record results and performances by horses and participants over the racing year.

A range of ATC racing and breeding industry partners will support and present awards including Arrowfield, Coolmore, Darley, Yulong, Inglis, Kia Ora Stud, Vinery and Racing & Sports.

Australian Turf Club Head of Racing and Wagering, Nevesh Ramdhani said the awards were an important acknowledgment of the contribution of owners and their horses.

“These awards focus on year-round support and participation at the ATC’s four racecourses, and the owners who regularly attend," Mr Ramdhani said.

“Owners are a critical part of our Club and the industry and we are pleased to see new records being broken around ownership attendances.

“We look forward to congratulating and celebrating with the owners on Saturday and especially acknowledging their wonderful horses who have completed another big racing year in Sydney."
