Varjak (NZ) - Raced As A Gelding (Kembla, Sat)
Racing NSW Stewards wish to clarify the information released in the Gear Changes report for the Kembla Grange meeting on Saturday (27th September) in regards to VARJAK (NZ) who is entered for Race 7 (No.4) and is trained by Ciaron Maher.
This imported horse won his only start at Matamata (NZ) in April but had appeared on the Gear Changes report as 'gelded', however, the horse was gelded overseas and raced as a gelding in New Zealand prior to being imported to Australia.
