Vale Mrs Margaret Quinton

The New South Wales Racing Industry is saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Mrs Margaret Quinton this morning.

Margaret, wife of champion jockey now top trainer Ron Quinton, suffered a heart attack and tragically passed away at their home earlier today.

Racing NSW’s CEO, Mr Peter V’landys AM, said this evening: “Ron was a champion jockey and is now one of NSW’s best trainers, but Margaret was his strength being a business partner and constant companion.

“Our sincere condolences go out to Ron, their three children and extended family during this difficult time.”
