Trainer Reports To Stewards - Headwall (Not Racing Saturday)
Trainer Matthew Smith has advised Racing NSW Stewards that Headwall was found to have sustained an injury to his near hindleg after trackwork on Saturday morning (13th September).
The horse presented lame in that leg this morning and will be sent for further tests to determine the extent of the injury.
Mr Smith further advised that Headwall will not be nominated for The Shorts at Royal Randwick on Saturday (20th September) and a decision will be made on the gelding’s spring preparation in the coming days.
