Stewards Invoke Level 2 Hot Weather Policy For Warwick Farm (Wednesday)

Racing NSW Stewards advise that, with the predicted top temperature of 40 degrees for tomorrow’s Warwick Farm race meeting, Level 2 of the Racing NSW Hot Weather Policy has been invoked. The following processes will be implemented:-

• Pre-parade will be shortened; • Additional veterinary staff employed; and • Ice water machines located in mounting enclosure and horse stall area.

Stewards advise that horses are still required to be on course two hours before the scheduled starting time of each race, to allow time to acclimatise and settle after travelling.
