Report From Trainer James Cummings - Tassort

Trainer James Cummings has advised Racing NSW Stewards that TASSORT has today been found to have bruising to the off-fore foot and as a result will miss work this week.

He advised that accordingly, Tassort will not start in the Todman Stakes this Saturday.

Mr Cummings has indicated he plans to start to the colt in the Pago Pago Stakes on 16 March 2019, should the condition improve sufficiently, and he will then assess if Tassort will take its place in the Golden Slipper following the Pago Pago Stakes.

Mr Cummings advised that in his opinion Tassort is a “50/50” chance to run in the Golden Slipper.

Racing NSW Veterinarians will inspect Tassort next week.
