RNSW Vet To Inspect Libran On Friday (Entered-Randwick, Saturday)

Please note trainer Chris Waller has reported to Racing NSW Stewards that LIBRAN, which is accepted to start in the Gr 1-TAB Chipping Norton Stakes at Royal Randwick this Saturday, sustained a small laceration to the point of the near-side hip on 17 February 2018, which required suturing.

Mr Waller advised the gelding has missed no work and the sutures have now been removed.

Racing NSW Veterinarian Dr Tania Selig today inspected Libran and reported the gelding was sound at the trot, however, was reactive on palpation around the wound. Libran will be subject to a further veterinary examination on Friday, 2 March 2018 by Dr Selig.
