New Brighton Golf Club (Moorebank) - COVID-19 Alert

Racing NSW has received advice that a person who attended New Brighton Golf Club at 43 Brickmakers Drive, Moorebank 2170 on 28 August 2020 between 6:15pm and 12:20am has tested positive to COVID-19.

NSW Health has advised that all persons who were in attendance at New Brighton Golf Club on 28 August 2020 between 6:15pm and 12:20am are to immediately self-isolate until a full assessment of the venue can be completed.

Racing NSW is directing that:

1. Any person who attended or any person that is considered a close contact (lives with or has had close contact of more than 15 minutes) of any person that has attended the New Brighton Golf Club on 28 August 2020 between 6:15pm and 12:20am must not attend a licensed venue or stables or any racecourse until further notice and must self-isolate. Further, those persons must immediately report their attendance or close contact to Racing NSW Stewards and obtain a COVID-19 test, the results of which are to be reported to Stewards.

2. Any person who attended the New Brighton Golf Club on 28 August 2020 at any time other than between 6:15pm and 12:20am must not attend a licensed venue or stables or any racecourse until a negative COVID-19 test is provided to Racing NSW Stewards before returning to a licensed venue or stables or racecourse. Further, those persons must immediately report their attendance at the Golf Club on 28 August 2020 to Racing NSW Stewards.

Trainers are directed to question all staff to ascertain if any employee has attended New Brighton Golf Club during the specified period. Any person that has been in attendance on 28 August 2020 must adhere to the conditions above.

Racing NSW will provide a further update once more information is available from NSW Health.
