Race 1 - 12:45PM PAUL COLLAREDA MEMORIAL MAIDEN PLATE (1000 METRES) |

7. ZING TO ME - She makes her Kembla Grange debut today. There were excuses for her defeat over this distance last start at Wyong when she kept trying after a break of twenty-two days. This quicker back-up and this more spacious circuit both aid her cause. 9. BILLABONG - She will be conceding Race-day experience to most when she makes her debut today but she can be expected to cope. She has Trialed on three occasions since a spell and she has handled Heavy and Very Soft Conditions in those Trials. 5. POMBIA - This Warwick Farm trained mare resumes after Trialing at her home base late last month. She was responsible for a pleasing first up performance last preparation over this distance at Wyong on a Soft 5 surface and she’s also raced well in softer going. 11. IVORY FROST - she was spelled after she travelled too keenly in transit on debut over this distance on the Kensington Track back in March. She won the second of her two lead-up Trials when Louise Day was aboard here twelve days ago. She should return as an improver.
Race 2 - 1:20PM ROTARY ILLAWARRA PROVINCIAL MIDWAY 4YO&UP MAIDEN (1400M) |

1. GREYT THINKER - He begins his first preparation since a Stable Change and he presents at his new home base after Trialing here twice recently. He was spelled after only one start last campaign at Hawkesbury when he finished almost beside a next start Winner. 4. VIN SANTO - Blinkers were added to his Gear before his Kembla Grange debut two starts ago was better than it appears on paper in a Race that has produced excellent form. His latest Nowra effort when he stepped up from 1200m to this trip was also solid. 10. PENALTIES - He can be forgiven for an unplaced front-running effort last start at Newcastle when he stepped back up to 1500m. He returns to his home base today and his most recent Kembla Grange effort was game when he finished between two next start Winners. 2. POUR BENN - His debut effort was honest here in Heavy ground when he didn’t finish far away from two subsequent start Winners. His unplaced only effort since here must be overlooked as there were excuses and a Gear Change has now been made (Blinkers Off).
Race 3 - 1:55PM HANSEN & COLE PROVINCIAL CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1400 METRES) |

7. VIA FLAMINIA - Her debut effort at her Newcastle home base was solid before she outclassed her opposition at home last run when she overcame an unsuitable run over 1300m. A step up to this journey can be ideal when she makes a Kembla Grange debut. 5. PHYXIUS - He had Trialed/Gosford before he resumed last start/Newcastle when he was competing as a gelding for a first time. He finished unplaced but he wasn’t disgraced behind the Winner, Bellenth who then performed pleasingly at Randwick last Saturday. 4. ERINA - She performed above Market Place expectations when she won on debut at Newcastle two starts ago and when she beat home Via Flaminia on the day. There were then excuses for an unplaced Newcastle run. A Tongue Tie has been added to her Gear. 1. KING NIC - He was spelled after an inconclusive debut effort here at home in January. He now presents third up in a second campaign after stepping up into this distance range last run at Wyong when he hit the line with determination. Returning home is now a plus.

COSMIC AVENGER - He presents fifth up in his first campaign as a gelding and he has scope to improve. He stepped up to tackle 1600m for the first time when he made his Kembla Grange debut last run. He’s Race-fitter now. 3. FIRE ISLAND - She wasn’t disgraced when stepping up to 1600m here second up last run after twenty-three days off. A quicker back-up is a now a plus.

Lee Magorrian was aboard over this distance at Gosford last start when he was too good for all bar the Winner. 6. SUPER SUGOI - He was also an Acceptor for the Tuncurry Meeting held yesterday but this Race was considered to be his best target. His effort behind the Leader/Winner was honest here last start after a break of twenty-nine days. This quicker back-up is now a plus. 1. I’VE BEAN TRYIN’ - He finished unplaced within this distance range last start on the Kensington Track but he had too much to do. His previous effort, also on the Kensington Track within this distance range was game in a Race that produced strong form. 7. MONTIGO BAY - She was attempting a significant distance rise when she was produced over this journey/Wagga on a Heavy track last start/Chad Lever aboard. She was dominant on the day and she should now have more to offer when she returns home today

1. THUNDERING SOUL - There were excuses for an unplaced first up Gosford effort. He was given a five week break before his two solid runs within this distance range at home/Newcastle. This spacious circuit should suit when he now makes his Kembla Grange debut. 3. SCORCHED LANE - He Trialed twice in August before he also Trialed eleven days ago in preparation for this first up attempt today. He was too good for all except the Leader/Winner first up last campaign at Sale in a Race that has since produced strong form. 9. TELLING - His first up effort was honest when he made a Kembla Grange debut two starts ago. His unplaced Wyong effort was then better than it appears at face value. He will appreciate stepping up from 1100m now with Keagan Latham aboard for a first time. 2. SONOFDEC - This Newcastle trained five-year-old presents first up from an eleven week break and he is making his Kembla Grange debut. He endured a tough run at his home base when he was last produced fresh within this distance range but he kept trying.

She makes her Kembla Grange debut today and she does so with more to offer. 7. STAGE LEGEND - She returned to Kembla Grange fourth up last start when she performed above the expectations of the Market Place over 1400m. She has only won the lone Race to date but the Race that she won was conducted on this Track and over this journey. 1. BURJ - The Race she won three starts ago at Wyong contained two subsequent start winners. There have been excuses for unplaced efforts twice since on the Kensington Track. GLADSTONE GRANDE - He was far too good for all bar Devious Mind third up and after a twenty-three day break last run/Wyong. This quicker back-up suits.
