Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 2 $300,000 Toyota Forklifts Theo Marks Stakes (1300m) at Rosehill Gardens.
Kerrin McEvoy (Autumn Glow): “Timmy (Clark) came over and just wanted to keep me on the rail. On a short-priced favourite I didn’t really want to be third the fence in an ideal world. So I just came back and she travelled ever so well.
“She was up and ready to go on the corner. I got her mobile and probably hit the front early enough but she’s a star in the making, which we already know.
“Good question (re Everest or Epsom). I think she'll stay further but she’s got a motor as well. I’m sure Chris and the team will make the right call. Probably a mile because then I might be a chance to ride her.”

Tim Clark (General Salute): “Excellent performance. Couldn’t be prouder of him."
Ethan Brown (Pier): “Rapt. Obviously against the pattern of the day. He peaked late but rounded his race off well.”
Zac Lloyd (Democracy Manifest): “He is just looking for further.”
Jason Collett (Encap): “Ran great. He was terribly sluggish from the gate. Gave them too much of a start at this level but what he did the last two furlongs was good.”
Braith Nock (El Castello): “Definitely short of his pet trip. I thought he executed well, followed the winner the majority of the way. Just found that last little bit a bit sharp.”
Alysha Collett (Femminile): “A little bit sharp for her. Ran through the line nicely.”
Andrew Adkins (Strait Acer): “He was OK. I was pleased with him. Would have liked to have seen him run through the line a bit better. He’s an older horse who will take a run or two to get complete fitness. Will enjoy stepping up through his distances.”
Rachel King (Espionage): “Really pleased with him. Did a bit of work from the outside gate. Pleased with how he kept chasing to the line.”
