Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 2 $300,000 Irresistible Pools Sheraco Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill Gardens.
Jason Collett (Manaal): “It was great, I loved that. Obviously (she was) really disappointing in Melbourne. We weren’t 100% sure why but to come back and the feel she gave me then, that was great.
“We say it all the time when they have a break and come back, ‘oh they’ve gotten bigger’, this and that. But she has actually. She’s sort of filling out more.
“She was a great two-year-old, but she’s starting to mature now into a really nice mare and that was great today.”

Molly Bourke (Dark Glitter): “Really nice up and coming filly. Keeps going from step to step and that was improvement again today. I think 1400m she will knock off a good race soon enough.”
Tyler Schiller (Gangsta Granny): “I thought she was gallant. Had to do it the tough way. Didn’t have enough pace from the bad draw. Just got stuck three deep outside of them. Top of the straight she let down strongly but couldn’t sustain it having that run.”
Rachel King (Stefi Magnetica): “Really pleased with her. She had to go back from a wide gate. Probably not the way the track is playing today. Ran home super."
Kerrin McEvoy (Ameena): “She was unlucky. Got held up behind the leaders which didn’t give a kick. Travelled kindly but held up then tight at the furlong. No luck at all.”
Tim Clark (Semana): “Had the back of the winner throughout. Couldn’t quite maintain the back of that horse when he quickened."
Dylan Gibbons (Spicy Martini): “Very good. Tough effort from her up in class. I think up in trip she will travel longer and see a better finish.”
Chad Schofield (Lilac): “She had a comfortable lead in front. Travelled well but found nothing.”
