Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 3 $750,000 Rosehill Gold Cup (2000m) at Royal Randwick.
James McDonald (Wootton Verni) “He’s a horse with his tail in the air and they've done a good job with him. He just never felt like getting beat, apart from just overdoing it the whole way.
“I think he's going to develop into a pretty good horse. And with any give in the ground, he thrives on it.
“He's got a lot of learning to do. He's lightly raced, but he'll be coached through the grades and I'm sure he'll reach top level.”

Rachel King (Imperialist): “Massive run. Had to do a bit of work from the gate. Brave to run second.”
Tom Sherry (Redstone Well): “He has run super. Has gone really well.”
Ethan Brown (Fawkner Park): “I think he struggled with this weight and in this going. Still a bit big I think. Yet to hit his straps. Heading in the right direction. Wasn’t fully disgraced today.”
Tom Marquand (Bois D'argent): “Didn’t break the best. Things didn’t go right the way around and off a back up.”
Nash Rawiller (Huetor): “He has sort of shown he is back in form. The blinkers helped him.”
Dylan Gibbons (Maison Louis): “Wheels spun on that ground. He was beaten very quickly.”
Regan Bayliss (Palmetto): “Good honest run.”
Braith Nock (Firm Agreement): “Wasn’t comfortable holding a spot. I just let him be. Quickened up nicely. Felt the pinch late. Can do more next start.”
Tyler Schiller (Our Gold Hope): “I thought she did a good job. Just the awkward barrier and had to go a bit further forward than I wanted to. Stuck it out well."
Andrew Adkins (Trust In You): “Tried hard. Just a little bit wet for him.”
Alysha Collett (Foujita San): “Pleasing enough run. Really hated that ground."
Zac Lloyd (Scarlet Oak): “Raced well. Good to see her racing well again. Appreciates the wet track as well.”
Jay Ford (State Of America): “He was good. It was the hardest race he’s ever contested. Acquitted himself well.”
Jean Van Overmeire (Churchill's Choice): “Really disliked the track. Dipped and dived a few times. Lost confidence in doing so.”
