Interstate Stewards Extracts - Rosehill - Saturday

Race 2, Horse - 1 CAERLESS CHOICE (Doomben 10/6/2017): Held up rounding the home turn and for the majority of the home straight. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.

Race 4, Horse - 3 CALL THE CAPTAIN (Ipswich 17/6/2017): Jockey reported at scale that the gelding knuckled at the start and lost ground, however travelled comfortably during the race but was disappointing when he applied pressure soon after straightening. A post race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

Race 5, Horse - 3 GALLIC CHIEFTAIN (FR) (Moonee Valley 3/6/2017): Rider dropped his whip near the 200m.

Race 5, Horse - 5 TICK TICK BLOOM (Moonee Valley 3/6/2017): Rider was of the opinion his mount would appreciate a track with more give and races of a lesser grade. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

Race 7, Horse - 2 GOLD SYMPHONY (Doomben 10/6/2017): Had to be steadied approaching the 800m and had to be steadied when forced to race in restricted room. Raced wide.

Race 7, Horse - 6 EXTENSIBLE (Doomben 10/6/2017): Pulled hard after passing the 800m and had to be restrained off heels. Laid out in the early stages of the straight.

Race 8, Horse - 3 SAVOUREUX (Eagle Farm 27/5/2017): A little slow to begin.

Race 8, Horse - 8 HIGHLY GEARED (Doomben 3/6/2017): Raced wide without cover throughout.

Race 8, Horse - 11 CALANDA (Doomben 10/6/2017): On arrival at the course was examined by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to start. Had to be steadied away from heels near the 800m.
