CROOKWELL SATURDAY Racing NSW Steward, Jason Shultz, reported jockey Taylor Lannstrom was involved in a fall at Crookwell races on Saturday and was transported to Crookwell Hospital with a fractured right leg.
COROWA SUNDAY Racing NSW Stewards have reported jockeys Jake Duffy and Bryan Murphy fell in race 6 at Corowa today. Jake is complaining of pain in his arm, Bryan has pain in his neck and both are being transported to Corowa Hospital for treatment. Update at 8am on Monday, 13th March Racing NSW's Dr Tim Musgrave has advised Jake Duffy has a possible elbow fracture and was admitted to Corowa Hospital for pain relief overnight and will most likely follow up with his doctor in Melbourne. Bryan Murphy was transferred to Albury Hospital for CT Scans to investigate a cervical spine injury. Both jockeys are medically stable.
WELLINGTON SUNDAY Racing NSW Steward, Sam Fitzgerald, has reported apprentice jockey Brock Ryan fell after the winning post in race 5. He has sustained an injury to his left shoulder and has been transported to Dubbo Base Hospital for further treatment. Update at 6pm on Sunday, 12th March Racing NSW's doctor has reported Brock Ryan is in a stable condition. He is having blood tests and X-rays done; clinically he has a fractured clavicle rather than dislocated shoulder.
Steward Sam Fitzgerald has reported jockey Winona Costin was injured after being dislodged at the start when her mount bucked. In an eventful race, two horses bucked at the the start and a third horse broke down mid-race. Update at 9am on Monday, 13th March Winona’s mother Patricia has advised Winona has fractured both her wrists and will arrange to see Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth next week to discuss appropriate treatment.
