ROSEHILL GARDENS – BEST BET: Race 3 # 6 – EXIT FEE

Keen on him and his first-up run had merit in a high-rating TAB Highway (1200m). The gelding was well-backed first-up, coming off the back of two sharp trials, and he tried hard in defeat. Further, he was checked/blocked when the sprint went on, but once the gap came, he accelerated hard but peaked late, indicating he would benefit from the run. He improves significantly second-up from a ratings perspective, is a winner at this track and maps to have all favours.

ROSEHILL GARDENS – VALUE BET: Race 4 # 4 – DIDDLE DUMPLING

She's an improving type who has always shown promise but has had genuine excuses throughout her career. The three-year-old was well-backed first-up at Gosford and, although well-ridden, she was a dominant winner. She showed adaptability, leading at a genuine tempo and sprinted hard, recording fast closing sectionals. Further, after adjusting for the last use of the track, she ran a slick time relative to the day. The Ryan & Alexiou galloper is progressive and expect a positive ride with Tim Clark on.

ROSEHILL GARDENS – SECTIONAL STAR: Race 1 # 1 – RAGING FORCE

He was well-fancied as an early two-year-old when heavily backed in the Group 3 Breeders Plate (1000m), but nothing went right and he was immediately spelled. The Snowden runner returned as a gelding and was an impressive winner first-up, backing it up last start at Kensington when running strong time. He showed a turn of foot and put his rivals away in a matter of strides with Punter's Intelligence recording him running one of the meeting's fastest 400m-200m splits in 11.03. He is on the quick backup, is a rock-hard fit and can have first use of the track, which will be a significant advantage.

WYONG – PROVINCIAL PICK: Race 8 # 9 – TRUE AMOR

He's well-placed, suited back to the provincial circuit and is ready to peak third-up. The gelding was 33 days between runs, slow away and ran an honest race in a high-pressure event. Expecting him to produce a career peak back onto a bigger track, and a senior rider goes back on. Likeable profile.
