Fallen Jockey Update - Jean Van Overmeire (Kembla Saturday)

Apprentice jockey Jean Van Overmeire was dislodged shortly after the start of race 8 at Kembla Grange on Saturday when riding Calm And Serene.

Racing NSW's Dr David Duckworth reports that Jean is OK and was kept in Wollongong Hospital overnight for observation. His neck scans were clear showing no fractures and is hopeful of being released today.
