Cootamundra Turf Club is hosting its 'Godolphin Cootamundra Cup' meeting this Sunday (1st October).

For the fifth time, CTC is offering a trainers bonus of $5000 to prepare the Cup winner plus 2 other winners. If the bonus isn't won, $2000 will be awarded to the leading trainer on the day (3-2-1 points basis).

“Cootamundra Turf Club is offering a $5000 bonus to any trainer who wins the Darley Cootamundra Cup, plus any two other races on the eight-event program,” said CTC President, Brad Shields.

The main race of the afternoon is the $25,000 Darley Cootamundra Cup (1600m) supported by the $22,000 Heritage Motel Benchmark 63 Handicap (1200m).
