Bathurst's Tyers Park In Excellent Condition For Friday

Bathurst Thoroughbred Racing is gearing up for another successful Bathurst Cup Legends Day race meeting this Friday.

Following a track gallop this morning, track manager Simon Morris said: "The track is in perfect condition for our big day with the rating at a Soft 5."

Weather conditions this week will be slightly milder in the lead-up to Friday with recent rain proving beneficial.

With a bumper 8 races on the card, this Country Showcase meeting sees prizemoney of $50,000 for the Bathurst Cup and a minimum prizemoney at $30,000 for the other races, total prizemoney of $275,000. Acceptances close Wednesday at 9am.
