Alteration To Mark Zahra's Suspension Term
Please be advised that Mark Zahra has withdrawn his appeal in relation to the severity of the penalty that was imposed in connection with the careless riding charge issued at the race meeting held at Ladbrokes Park Hillside, Victoria on Wednesday, 5th April 2107.
Accordingly, Racing NSW Stewards under AR196 (3) order that his period of suspension incurred at Royal Randwick Racecourse on Saturday, 8th April 2017 is to be served cumulatively and will commence at the expiration of the suspension imposed in Victoria.
Therefore Mark Zahra's licence to ride in races is suspended for a period to commence on Monday, 17th April 2017 and to expire on Thursday, 27th April on which day he may ride.
