Zac Lloyd On Top In Hawkesbury Rising Star Heat

Zac Lloyd [pictured left] has claimed his first Rising Star Apprentice Series win after taking out Heat 9 at Hawkesbury on Thursday (15th December).
Lloyd, competing in his first all-apprentice race, greeted the judge with Oryx ($4.20) for trainer James Cummings.
The pair defeated Molly Bourke (No Statement-$11) and defending Rising Star Series champion Jenny Duggan (Lambdoma Energy-$16).
Shayleigh Ingelse leads the Series boasting 18 points ahead of Jasper Franklin (16) and Georgina McDonnell (13).
Taree will host Heat 10 on Sunday (18th December).
