Licensed Jockey Blake Shinn Has Lodged An Appeal

Licensed jockey Blake Shinn has lodged an appeal against conviction and penalty after being found guilty of careless riding by Racing NSW Stewards under AR137(a) after his ride on I Thought So in Race 8 (The Man Shake Handicap, 1100m) at Randwick Racecourse on Saturday 25, May 2018.

Following a Stewards inquiry on this date, Mr Shinn was suspended for a period commencing Sunday, 3 June 2018 and to expire on Thursday, 14 June 2018, on which day he may ride. A date for the appeal is yet to be scheduled.
