James Innes Jr Notches First Rising Star Win This Season

James Innes Junior has recorded his first Rising Star Series win for the season.

He guided Forbidden Kisses to victory in heat 9 at Canterbury Park on Wednesday for Sydney trainer Gerald Ryan.

Rachel King, who placed 2nd aboard All In The Reflexs, has taken the Rising Star lead boasting 19 points.

Jean Van Overmeire now fills 2nd spot on the ladder with 17 points.

Mikayla Weir, Olivia Pickering and Courtney Van Der Werf are equal 3rd with 15 points each.

Heat 10 will be run at Wagga this Friday, January 12th.
