Injured Rider Update - Jay Ford (Canterbury Weds)

Jockey Jay Ford was dislodged from his mount (Investment) during the running of Race 4 at Canterbury Park on Wednesday.

[Update Thursday]: Jay's scans were clear and he was discharged from hospital last night.

[Update at 8.05pm on Weds]: Jay is still in hospital waiting for scans. He is awake and orientated with some mild neck pain. If the scans are clear, he will be discharged home.

[Update at 3:35pm on Weds]: Jay suffered a head knock during the fall and has been transported to hospital for further examination.
