Anna Roper Secures Another Win at Kensington, Advancing in the Race for Rising Star Champion
A well-timed ride by Roper resulted in the 21-year-old clinching victory on board Desiah for trainer Ciaron Maher, with Zac Lloyd (Hanau) and Dylan Gibbons (Infancy) rounding out the placings.
Roper (34 points) now boasts an eight-point lead in the Series, ahead of Olivia Chambers (26), Amy Lucas (23) and Zac Wadick (22).
Only two heats remain in the Series with Roper declaring she will be contesting both rounds at Dubbo (February 5) and Taree (February 11).
