Illawarra Turf Club is seeking to employ a Racing Manager based at Kembla Grange Racecourse, Wollongong (Illawarra & South Coast NSW).

About us
Kembla Grange Racecourse is one of Racing NSW's premier Provincial Race Clubs that holds 35 race meetings a year. The club also hosts a number of non-race day events including, trade days, birthday parties and weddings.

Located in Kembla Grange, the location allows for the successful applicant to enjoy the fantastic lifestyle that comes with living in the Illawarra District.

Qualifications & experience
Extensive background in the horse racing industry and the ability to work pre-arranged early starts and raceday weekends.

Tasks & responsibilities
* Processing Raceday nominations, acceptances and premierships
* Manage programs for racedays and trials
* Organise and run barrier trials/jump outs
* Raceday Operations including but not limited to: Organising ambulance attendance for racedays and trials / Security requirements / Organising bookmakers and outside broadcast
* Liaise with trainers, jockeys and stewards and be their main point of contact for the club
* Liaise with owners and facilitate their raceday entitlements
* Train, supervising and support all casual general raceday staff that fall under your roster
* Pool & trackwork records & accounts
* Assist with providing racing-related social media content
* Assist with the WHS systems.
