As the Event & Raceday Sales Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales function for both events and racedays at The Entertainment Grounds which is a premier entertainment and hospitality venue located in West Gosford, New South Wales.

This full-time role will see you driving revenue growth through the strategic development and execution of sales initiatives while also overseeing the seamless delivery of our client's expectations to our Events team.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive bookings and maximise revenue for events, functions and racedays
• Management of the sales process, from initial contact to lead conversion, via venue site visits and quotes
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and industry partners
• Analysing sales and event data to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement
• Manage the Club's membership function, including growth, retention and partner benefits

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience in a sales or event management role within the hospitality or tourism industry
• A proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask
• A strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making
• A passion for the hospitality and entertainment industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
