About the role
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic hospitality and events professional to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. Covering various aspects of our business, you will primarily be responsible for managing our memberships, event activations, in-house events, and business development. You will utilise your creativity to design and present activations and experiences for our clients whilst also researching new business and event opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
This role has three main focuses:
Membership
* Manage the membership offering, including growth, inclusions and retention.
* Membership liaison
Events
* Ownership of TEG events - This includes our annual Wedding Fair, Members Cocktail Party and Taste the Coast. This would include concept, marketing, sales and delivery.
* Raceday activations - Presenting options, booking and management of promotions/activations that add value and customer experience.
* Marketing - Assist the Sales & Marketing Manager with event marketing, primarily focused on digital/social media.
Special Projects
* Identification and implementation of new business ventures primarily focused on hospitality.
What We're Looking For
* Extensive (2-3 years) experience in event management within the hospitality or tourism industry
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask
* A strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making
* A passion for the hospitality and entertainment industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
* Proven experience in using social/digital media to promote events/products
