ROYAL RANDWICK (Saturday 6th January)
Race 2, No.3 - PERSEIDS: Trainer Natalie McCall reported the gelding has undergone surgery to remove bone chips from its off-fore knee since its last race start (3 June 2023). The horse has since trialled once (Sunshine Coast 12/12/23).
Race 10, No.6 - UNRAVEL: The Messara/Gavranich stable reported the gelding has undergone surgery for an entrapped epiglottis since its last race start (17 June 2023). The horse has since trialled twice (Scone 22/11/23 and 19/12/23).
QUEANBEYAN (Saturday 6th January)
Race 4, No.2 - MISS MANZANILLA: The Nick Olive stable reported the mare sustained a pelvis fracture when she last raced (19/10/2022).
