Stables Report To Stewards - Canberra (Friday) / Rosehill & Cowra (Saturday)

Please note the following:

HAWKESBURY (Thursday 3rd July)
Race 6, No.2 - AGAINST THE LAW: The Bryce Heys stable has notified Stewards that the gelding had a fracture to the distal phalanx of the left hind foot. The horse has since completed all phases of the Racing Australia Codes of Practice for major orthopaedic injuries and has trialled on four occasions (13/5/25 Warwick Farm, 26/5/25 Warwick Farm, 10/6/25 Warwick Farm and 23/6/25 Canterbury Park).

CANBERRA-ACTON TRACK (Friday 4th July)
Race 2, No.2 - CHAMPAGNE LACE: Trainer Matthew Kelley has advised the mare underwent surgery to remove bone chips from both front knees since she last raced (6/9/24).
Race 5, No.3 - RINGAROSA: Trainer Matthew Dale has advised the mare underwent surgery for an entrapped epiglottis (18/02/2025). The horse has not trialled/raced since.

ROSEHILL GARDENS (Saturday 5th July)
Race 1, No.10 - PORTOFINO: The Chris Waller stable reported the colt has undergone arthroscopic surgery to remove a bone chip from its near fore knee since its first barrier trial (28/1/25). The horse has since trialled on two occasions (Randwick 13/6/25 and 27/06/25).
Race 8, No.10 & Race 10, No.19 (6th em) - LOUISVILLE: The Chris Waller stable reported the gelding has undergone arthroscopic surgery to remove bone chips from both knees since its last race start (2/3/24). The horse has since trialled on two occasions (Warwick Farm 10/6/25 and Rosehill 20/6/25).

COWRA (Saturday 5th July)
Race 3, No.6 - ROMAN MISS: Trainer Alison Smith advised the mare has undergone a caslick procedure. The horse has since trialled once at Bathurst (19/6/25).
