Madison was trapped wide for most of the way but the $11 chance still dashed clear halfway down the straight and held off the fast-finishing Honeysuckle Choice (Jess Del Frari, $3.80 favourite) to win by a neck.

Heni Ede on the roughie Eillod ($81) came in third a length away.

Madison Waters joins Louise Day at the top of the points ladder after Day guided Ruddock ($2.50 fav) to an easy win at Gosford in the Rising Star Series heat opener on Wednesday 2 December.

Heat 3 will be run at Warwick Farm on Wednesday (9th December).
