Injured Rider Update - Matt McGuren (Grafton, Monday)
Jockey Matt McGuren was dislodged from his mount when it reared in the barriers prior to the running of Race 4 at Grafton on Monday (9th June).
Ambulance officers cleared him to fulfill his remaining engagements, however, after riding in Race 5, Matthew experienced lower back pain and was transported to hospital for further assessment.
[Update at 10am on Tuesday]: Matthew is OK and was discharged from hospital yesterday. He is awaiting results from further scans today.
