Racing industry participants in the Northern Rivers Racing Districts are invited to attend the next Racing Mates BBQ ‘Get-Together’ at the Coffs Harbour race meeting on Sunday 23rd July.

Racing Mates ambassador Pat Webster will be trackside to host the event.

“We are pleased to be returning to catch up with Northern Rivers Racing participants at Coffs Harbour,” Webster said.

Racing Mates is a peer support initiative established by Racing NSW, empowering mates to look out for mates.

Research has found that effective support offered from peers and colleagues can aid significantly in coping with stress and difficult situations.

“Our BBQ gatherings are all about bringing the racing community together for a chat which has proven to be very effective with past events held,” Webster said.

The BBQ will be held for participants from 12pm in the raceday stalls area of the Coffs Harbour Racing Club, prior to raceday.
