Racing NSW advises of the following updates in respect to upcoming race meetings.

BATHURST (Sunday 1 May)
Racing NSW Stewards conducted an inspection of Bathurst on Friday which is currently rated a Heavy (10). The forecast for Bathurst Saturday 30 April is for 20 to 40mm of rain which would place the meeting in significant doubt. A track inspection will be conducted at 6am on Sunday and if the track is unsuitable for racing, the meeting will be transferred to Cowra and conducted on Tuesday, 3 May 2022. Cowra is currently rated a Heavy (8).

COFFS HARBOUR (Friday 6 May) - Transferred to ARMIDALE
Racing NSW Stewards have inspected the Coffs Harbour Heavy 10 track and have deemed it unsuitable to race on following heavy rainfall and a further forecast for inclement weather.

As a result the Coffs Harbour race meeting scheduled for Friday, 6th May 2022 has been transferred to Armidale.  Alternative venues were inspected in the Northern Rivers Region however no tracks were in a position to race due to the heavy rainfall and flood events over the past period.

As a result of this transfer the following race distance amendments apply.

Please note Ballot Preference for this Armidale race meeting will be given to horses trained in the Northern Rivers Racing Region with nominations closing 11am Monday.

LISMORE (Saturday 7 May) - NOW AT GLEN INNES
Following significant flooding in the region and further rainfall, the Lismore meeting scheduled for 7 May 2022 has been transferred to Glen Innes. The following distance changes apply:

Race 1 – Benchmark 50 1100m now 1000m
Race 2 – Benchmark 50 1400m (no change)
Race 3 – Benchmark 50 1900m now 1700m
Race 4 – Class 1 1300m now 1200m
Rac2 5 – Maiden 1100m now 1000m
Race 6 – Maiden 1516m now 1400m
