Elissa won the latest round of the apprentice-only race series at Tamworth on the Grant Marshall-trained No Dreams All Hope, saluting in the 1000m Benchmark 58 Handicap at odds of $81.

“It was very special to celebrate my first win, and, even better being a Rising Star race,” Elissa said.

“It’s a nice reward after a lot of hard work.”

Elissa is indentured to Tracey Bartley at Wyong, with more success expected to follow.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Two Rising Star rounds remain scheduled at Nowra (16th June) and Hawkesbury (30th July).

The Hawkesbury race was converted from the Final to a heat that will not be run this year.

NO OVERALL WINNER will be declared due to COVID-19 restrictions limiting apprentices' ability to contest all heats.
