7. Cool Waters is on debut for trainer Nathan Doyle and has had one trial for a Gosford placing. The trial was on a heavy track and she’s drawn ideally here to get the run of the race. 8. Taylor’s Rage has performed well at Rockhampton at her latest two starts including a last start third there. She warrants respect. 6. Caramelfudgesundae is a Queenslander resuming after a Sunshine Coast trial and she performed well in both her starts earlier in the year. 5. Spoiler has had plenty of chances and comes into this after a placing at Grafton when last produced.

4. Good Karma is a seven-year-old mare in the Paul Snowden stable and she resumed with a fifth at Newcastle and strips fitter for this. She’s yet to be placed from eight starts but has been close-up in a number of them. 7. Moonlight Diva debuts here after placings in both trials and a bold showing is on the cards. 8. Saskatoon Berry was placed here back in June and hasn’t been too far away in each of four starts since then. 6. Maggie Rose was beaten just over two and a half lengths when midfield at Port Macquarie last time out and has place claims.

1. Tartaglia is a former Godolphin galloper having his first start for trainer Paul Snowden and new connections. He’s won once from eight starts and hasn’t raced since April when campaigning in Victoria. He’s has the talent to make a winning debut in this area. 2. Boambee Beach has been racing well with a string of recent placings and only needs to maintain that form to be a leading contender again. 3. Dusan raced on the speed and gave a good sight when a last start second at Murwillumbah last week and is a chance with a repeat. 7. Personal Space was a Grafton winner three starts ago and finished second at this track following that.

4. Cool Summer Nights is another filly on debut for trainer Nathan Doyle. She’s had two trials at Gosford for a win and a fourth and is primed to run well here. 6. Satono Invader is on debut for Kris Lees and had two jumpouts in Victoria last year before hoping Lees and having two recent trials. She should perform well in this. 2. Hard Knock Life was midfield at Tamworth last time out after failing at Gosford and has place claims. 3. Keiko Say has only had two starts and ran well at the Sunshine Coast when a last start fourth.

1. Impressionism broke his maiden in good style at Newcastle back in April and was then spelled. He’s had two runs since resuming for a sixth at Wyong and a fifth at Newcastle and looks set to peak here. Stablemate 4. Oakfield Pluto debuted with a solid Taree win before a close second at Port Macquarie at his only other start. He should be in the thick of things again. 3. Cash And Cards has been midfield in each of three starts since resuming from a spell and could show up without surprising. 7. Risk For Reward was placed at Casino when last produced and is drawn to get the run of the race.

2. True Fairy did the job well to score at this track three starts ago and has since performed well with a third at Grafton and a second at Casino. Another forward showing is on the cards here. 3. Full Regalia followed a resuming fourth at Port Macquarie with a solid last start win at Grafton and warrants respect on that effort. 5. Bianca Nero has been racing well and was placed at Port Macquarie last time out, while 7. Venom Wolf also comes into this after a Port Macquarie placing and is worth thought.

6. Monte Maximus has been racing well with solid wins at Casino and Grafton either side of a sound fifth in a Rosehill Highway event. He looks suited in this and can go on with the job. 7. Outakandy ran well enough when a last start fourth at Newcastle and is not out of this. 3. Gobbled ran third at Taree after a couple of fifth placings before that and is worth including. 9. Laizabout has shown talent and can make an impact in this while fresh.

3. The Lupercal resumes from a spell here and while yet to win first-up from two attempts he does have a solid enough overall record. He hasn’t raced since March when a close-up eighth at Tamworth. 7. Queen Of A Hand is resuming here and win her maiden at this track earlier in the year. 2. Mawsons Expedition won well at Taree two starts ago before an eighth at Casino. He can improve here. 5. Mr Damage has been down on form of late but is capable at best.
