Injured Stablehand - Tommy Smith (Mudgee, Thursday)

Tommy Smith, a stablehand for Mudgee trainer Gayna Williams, was kicked while attempting to remove a horse from the walking machine on Thursday morning (2nd January).

Racing NSW's Dr. Duckworth reports Tommy was kicked in the stomach and is now going to Dubbo Hospital for a CT scan of his abdomen to ensure there is no internal damage.
