Injured Jockey Update - Zara Castellaz-Faico (Canberra, Wednesday)
Please note jockey Zara Castellaz-Faico was injured during a fall at the jump outs at Thoroughbred Park in Canberra this morning (Wednesday 17th July). Zara has a suspected fracture to her right leg and has been taken to Canberra Hospital.
[Update at 2:30pm on Wednesday, 17th July 2019]: Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth reports that Zara has a fractured tibia and fibula requiring an intramedullary nail to fix it. Zara will either be having surgery today or tomorrow, depending on theatre availability.
