Injured Jockey Update - Nick Heywood (Wagga Trials, Weds)

Jockey Nick Heywood was dislodged from his mount after the post during Wednesday's Wagga barrier trials. Nick was taken to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital for further treatment. His left ankle has started to swell up and he may have suffered a concussion.

Update at 1pm on Thursday, 13th December 2018: Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth has reported that Nick Heywood has broken his ankle and is undergoing surgery now to fix the fractures.
