Jockey Michael Gray has suffered a concussion after being dislodged from his horse during morning trackwork at Gilgandra on Thursday (6th December). Michael was taken to Dubbo Base Hospital for precautionary scans, suffering pain in his neck.
Update at 8:15am on Friday (7th December: Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth reports that Michael is fine. He has suffered concussion but his head CT scan was clear. Michael also has a soft tissue injury to his neck and won't be riding for at least two weeks.
