Injured Jockey Update - Akira Kajiya (Canberra, Sunday)

Apprentice jockey Akira Kajiya was dislodged shortly after the start of race 4 at Canberra on Sunday (16th December). Akira had pain in his left leg and was assessed by ambulance officers.

Update at 10am on Monday (17th December): Dr. Duckworth reports Akira was admitted to hospital overnight. X-rays of his leg were clear and he will be discharged today.
