Injured Apprentice Chelsea Ings (Port Macquarie, Friday)

Apprentice jockey Chelsea Ings has been dislodged from her mount (Kailis Pearl) near the 1200m in Race 8 at Port Macquarie last Friday. Chelsea is conscious and was complaining of pain to her right leg. She is being assessed and will most likely be transported to Port Macquarie Hospital for further assessment.

Update on Monday 21st May: Racing NSW's Dr Tim Musgrove reported Chelsea Ings was discharged from hospital on Friday night. She has fortunately suffered no fractures and was sent home with ice/elevation treatment.
