Racing NSW Stewards wish to clarify the gear to be worn by CLIMATE CONTROL (trained by Jeremy Gask), which has accepted to race at both the Gosford @ Scone race meeting today (Thursday) and on the Beaumont Track-Newcastle on Monday.

A gear change was approved this morning for WINKERS ON (first time), however, this gear change will only apply should the gelding back up to race on the Beaumont Track on Monday, where it is an acceptor in Race 7 (NZB Weanlings 26 June CG&E Benchmark 58 Handicap, 1150m).

Today at the Gosford @ Scone race meeting where it will compete in Race 8 (Newgate CG&E Benchmark 64 Handicap, 1100m), the gear change has not been approved for this race meeting and it will race with the gear as originally advertised (Cross-over Nose Band on).
