The Ardlethan Picnic Race Club meeting scheduled for Saturday, 22nd March 2025 is being moved Narrandera Racecourse.

APRC has raced for almost 60 years at Ardlethan on private property known as “Warri” with Mirrool Creek running adjacent to the home straight.

That venue now requires additional running rail on the outside of the racecourse to conduct the race meeting safely, as well as improved tie-ups for competing horses.

With the racecourse being on private property (which is for sale) the property owner does not wish to add the required racing infrastructure to what is a working farm for the remaining 364 days of the year.

Hence, Ardlethan Picnic Race Club will continue its traditional race meeting that will now be staged at nearby Narrandera Racecourse.
