Opportunities

Caring for racehorses is very labour intensive. There are currently a large number of Non-Rider Stablehands and Rider/Stablehands (who also ride trackwork or a lead pony) employed in NSW. Stablehands can progress to stable foreperson in a large stable or become a licensed racehorse trainer, or change into other areas of the racing industry.
